I have been making healing balm for over 14 years and in 2008 started a website. I love making the balm. One of things that I know I am meant to do during my lifetime is to help people heal, grow and expand their lives to become happier, "more alive" individuals and this is one of the ways that I fulfill my mission. Because my balm (for many years), has sold primarily by word of mouth, I have gotten to know many of my customers personally and I love this aspect of having a business. It is something that I do not want to lose as my business grows. Sharing our lives with each other is a great gift.

I am often asked why I only make one product and the answer is simple. The balm that I make, Mary's Skin Survival Balm, is really effective.  It is truly helpful in such a range of skin needs, that I cannot imagine formulating something better. I use it daily (actually many times a day as I have a tin in my car, purse and several around the house) and invariably, right after I have rubbed some in, someone will say, "What smells so wonderful?" I, of course, love this reaction, but the real value in it is how well it works. Each batch of skin balm is made completely by hand with 100% natural ingredients. The base is pure olive oil, infused with herbs (comfrey root, slippery elm, myrrh, and sea kelp), essential oils (tea tree, lavender, rosemary and eucalyptus), and finally pure beeswax is added.
